It is never too late to follow our passions. After graduating in law and then in foreign languages, I have worked in advertising in Paris and London, enjoying cooking as my main leisure activity for a long time.
One day, though, the “kitchen bell” rang. In 2010 my husband and I launched one of the first supper clubs in London. Suddenly, “underground restaurants” became mainstream and cooking for our guests turned into more than a creative hobby. A career change was looming.
Upon the advice and support of Francesco Mazzei, I decided to quit my traditional pursuit and to follow him for a year, learning to cope with the art – and orchestrated chaos – of a professional kitchen, before starting my own path as personal chef.
This allows me not only to cook delicious meals, but also to create an individual interaction with my clients, through a genuine bespoke process which is impossible to achieve in a restaurant.
